TL;DW:
– There are 4 Pillars of Success in Diablo Immortal: Grind, Skill, Social, P2W. One alone will not get you very far
– It’s expected that the biggest spenders will be around 2-3x as powerful as F2P players
– Most players will probably spend nothing or marginal amounts on the game, meaning that the power level will be comparable between the vast majority of players
– P2W mostly matters in PvP scenarios when there are people that check all the other pillars to success in a similar fashion
– There is no gated content and no real “fast track” you can unlock with P2W
– Keep in mind that my knowledge is based on Alpha/Beta and things are guaranteed to change on release and after, for better or worse
